– Edmonton Role Changes and Retirement
Gillfor Distribution’s Edmonton location is bidding farewell to Regional Manager Rex Ashton, who has announced his retirement from the company, effective June 30th, 2023. Rex has dedicated a large part of his life to this industry and has held many roles in manufacturing and wholesale distribution. We are grateful for the dedication and leadership that he has demonstrated over the years and wish him all of the best in his future endeavours.
We are very pleased to announce that Darryl Wiebe has taken on the role of Division Manager. Darryl’s primary functions will be to lead the team, manage business profitability and guide efforts in both sales and the implementation of National programs. Darryl brings with him many years of experience on the retail end of wholesale distribution, and he is known for his strong business acumen and leadership skills. Darryl will be an excellent fit in his new role and we are excited for his future with the company.
It is also with great pleasure that we announce that Kelvin Katzenback has been promoted to Assistant Division Manager. Kelvin will work closely alongside Darryl to guide, manage and support all activities and members of the Division in their operations. His years of sales experience, expertise and his demonstration of solid operations leadership makes Kelvin a prime fit for this new role.
Both the Division Manager and Assistant Division Manager roles are key to the future success of Gillfor and the strategic growth of the company. We are fortunate to have such talented employees within our own organization, and would like to congratulate both Darryl and Kelvin as they pursue their new leadership futures with Gillfor!
